Eilika is an 11 year old daughter of some friends of mine.  She saw my work and decided to have me teach her about ceramic mosaics by making a Father’s Day present for her papa.  She came to my studio for 5 Saturdays and we made this bench together.  The foliage represents the beautiful garden her papa has worked on since before Eilika was born.
